First Look at Quentin Tarantino Western!

The beginning of this month saw a glimpse at Quentin Tarantino's take on a Western with the release of the Django Unchained trailer. The film stars Jamie Fox, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington and Samuel L Jackson. 

Film Review: The Fairy

Yesterday evening, I had the oppertunity to go to the advanced screening of new French film The Fairy at the Soho Screening Rooms.

Plot: 

Dom works the night shift in a small hotel near Le Havre. One night, a woman arrives with no luggage and no shoes. Her name is Fiona and she tells Dom that she is a fairy that can grant him three wishes. Fiona makes two of his wishes come true then mysteriously disappears. Dom. who has fallen in love with her by then, searches for her.

First Les Miserables Trailer!

This is the first trailer to be released for the highly anticipated big screen adaptation of the Victor Hugo's novel and a theatre classic - and it looks like it's gonna be an emotional one!

Tom Hopper (The King's Speech) has directed the film, accompanied by a whole host of big names including Russell Crowe as Javert, Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean, Amanda Seyfried as Cosette, Eddie Rayman as Marius, Anne Hathaway as Fantine, Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen (which I can't wait to see!) as the Thénardiers.Les Miserables tells the story of ex-prisoner Jean Valjean who is hunted for decades by the ruthless policeman Javert after he breaks parole.When Valjean agrees to care for factory worker Fantine’s young daughter, Cosette, their lives change forever.
